The original game allowed weather changes, but time of day can only be set in-game via DLL.

IIRC, it is possible to use textures up to 4096x8192. That is the largest size that the DXT generator can handle. At least, it was 2 years ago when I last used it. It might be different now.

The new fury saucers do fall out of the sky much faster. In the original game, they would slowly come down giving you time to blast them with rockets before they were in weapons range. Now they just fall straight down and start firing before you can get a lock on them. It does make it quite a bit ha...

In that mission, you're better off just rushing the enemy base as quickly as possible.

Oh well. It's still pretty nice. I'd actually really like to see BZ2 remade in a similar fashion. I'd hope that they'd deviate a little more next time and make the environments a lot more detailed. I want to see Mire maps that resemble something out of Crysis. Rebellion are the guys who made Sniper ...

I seem to recall that PB4 and possibly some later patches created an issue in Fleshstorm where newly spawned units wouldn't automatically be put into command groups, so you couldn't control them.

Best to use PB3.
