Another thing: I'm on the first Titan mission (where you rescue the 3 lots of survivors), and the game automatically makes me fail straight after Collins tells me to rescue the CCA guys. It tells me that one of the NSDF pilots I was supposed to be rescuing has died, even though that's not the case.

Bombers, hmm. I'll look into the sound, and the walkers sucked in BZ1 too (sasquatch did anyway), and the Golem has been fixed a bit, it should be better. Yeah, Sasquatch did suck. As much as I would love Activision to help out the BZ community by remarketing the game, the truth is it's not going to happen. As far as the companies involved are concerned, Battlezone is well and truly dead. Only forums like these and a very dedicated fan base have kept/are keeping it alive.

The other alternative is to have the launcher be a radar locking torpedo launcher; the torpedo, since it is an object (as opposed to ordnance), would be able to have chunks in its explosion (much like how vehicles have chunks when they explode), and the chunks would be able to split off of the prim...

It's just made me think that would be a good trait for a new race - a recycler that deploys on a normal scrap pool, and acts like its own extractor, so that you don't need to build a scavenger until/unless you want more pools. It would kinda suck if played on a map with no base pool, though.

Make your hover recycler require a pool and it works fine. It is just a hover scav and a pool (or custom pool possibly with masking so it can't get confused with normal pools) where the exactor form is the recycler. Scavs can add to scrap bar when still mobile, can even act as silos or scrap genera...

Don't worry, MrTwosheds, I won't. And even if I did, it would never scare me away from BZ2. Maybe the online multiplayer, but never the game itself. Anyway, I had a great MPI game straight afterwards
