AHadley, I don't think there's any reasonable way to say that the Dark Planet has data-banks to contain the information about Core in the first place, but there is an alternative. It might be that whatever alchimated the original Core also had the information about it spread through the wormhole lin...

In an optimal system NatNeg would be what you use and UPNP is the fallback, but in our situation it seems UPNP is the more reliable element. I've wanted BZ2 to support multiple servers for some time. Back when we were on gamespy I did inquire about plugin/dll support, but that would have been a doos...

A big note is that everyone has to use the same NatPunchthrough server or NatNeg won't work. Matchmaking though, that's a lot more flexible. I need to rewrite IonDriver's rewrite though so instead of timing out remote calls it does them off the request thread so they're there for the next GET.

It shouldn't act any differently than BZ2 currently does. By default configuration the proxy will try to get a game list from IonDriver, failing that MatesFamily, and failing that KebbzNet. Updated to version 1.1.0.0 which has correct DELETE handling. I should have known something was wrong when GSH's server was replying with 500.

I use dreamhost now for stuff like http://battlezone.report and it's been pretty stable, but I'm on redfern. You're probably on a different server than I am.

I noticed that the games list was a bit flaky the last 2 days, probably related. It seems to be back but the dummy game GSH normally has up is gone. I had to rejigger the Discord game list bot so it would properly understand the server's dummy game being gone.

I rip game assets for fun but I'd need access to the actual files to figure anything out.
Extensions mean nothing when it really comes down to it.

PC based files are always easier to work with of course because they are using byte orders native to the platform.
