Well, I don't get paid for any of the work I do.

I have a doctorate in applied linguistics but spend my day to day time as MrsGSH and mom to the lilGSHs.

If you had the chance, what career would you go after? A doctorate is nothing to sneeze at, even if it involves EIS.

So my question is, what keeps you involved?
It's been hard for me to stay involved, as I'm currently abroad. But I like to check back every now and then. When I can, I play the game because of the unique (basically: the only comparable game is Battlezone [the first one]) gameplay in terms of balance ...
