Re: New DLL callbacks - any requests?

You have the dll set the AIP, so your dll/code should already be aware of it.

Re: Issue with running 1.3.6.5

I first tried playing with patch 1.2, as the basic 1.0 version does not yet have any MPI maps installed that allows teamplay against AI. However, installing the 1.2 patch led to the problem of a not binded ESC button so I could not enter the menu once I started a game. Easiest option to remedy this...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

Thanks Lt. However I test and am very nitpicky at it or I stay away from games untill they are in full-release/feature mode since it otherwise spoils 'the very first playthrough' for me. And in all honosty I no longer really do any testing since the dev of AI War moved on to the next project. Gimme ...

Re: BZ1 Armory

Honostly I'd suggest you to get something working out and leave all the bells and wistles untill you regained confidence with your potential customers.
By the time you are going to have something release worthy it wont run on Windows 20.3....

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

Y'know, Red Spot, with all this talk about how HW2 is so inferior to HW1, I think you'd make a great Battlezone 1 fan. In what topic did you come to that conclusion. As it is HW is a much better game than HW2, imo. Y'know, Red Spot, with all this talk about how HW2 is so inferior to HW1, I think yo...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icwqd2Q49uc&feature=youtu.be Do you have a source for that? I can't find anything to tell me what engine HW2 is built on that I didn't already see before writing the previous post. EDIT: Disregard . I did find this though, which indicates HW:R really isn't a new e...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

I thought HW remastered was great :-/ As a game by itself it has its charm, but it is not ½ the game it used to be. The game actually worked back in the day. Now they just gave you the buttons, they just dont work. Not to forget the most important aspect of it all. In HW2 manouvering/agressive stan...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

I'm not even purely stating my own opinion, you seem to though. Excellent observation skills! You continue to prove that you possess reading comprehension! I did in fact state my view as an opinion! I do also acknowledge that HW1 has been changed in some pretty big ways from the original, gameplay ...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

Side point before it comes up: BZ1 and BZ2 are far more different than HW1 and HW2. HW1's core difference was in UI, and it was full of tons of screens. HW2 is more the sub-window style that doesn't get you away from the gameplay. Admittedly some of the HW1 stuff might seem a bit odd in the HW2 UI,...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

'remastering' the code wont work using a modern engine. the original code for BZ is way too old. at best they can use it as a model going forward. If they take any shortcuts, the game will be complete shiite. I hope the try to use UE4, then they can spend all of there time working for EPIC as quali...
