Re: crash & geforce
Nice catch! Those two files seem to belong to the ingame resultion expansion and the latest vsr50 release seems to lack those two config files for the x1.5 und x2.0 expansion modes. Maybe I was the first one actually using that feature together with vsr and hence nobody else noticed that issue so fa...

crash & geforce
On my new laptop (windows 8.1 and Geforce GTX 860m 2GB) I'm having issues to get BZ to run properly. Bevor I upgraded to the latest Geforce driver, my client tended to freeze for short moments rather often (almost like a resync in multiplayer game). It seems that graphic engine couldn't keep up. Any...

Re: Forgotten Enemies for 1.3.6.5 BETA
Went through Power Struggle and it functioned correctly; some cutscenes are still a little choppy and/or slow though, so i'll have to speed them up some more, plus the debrief screens tend to appear before the last audio debriefs are finished, cutting them off. Unsure why there are | bars at the en...

Re: beyond raknet/instant replacement
Actually with tunngle you need a mod selection process as well, but you can do that as before (with raknet or gamespy hosting). Like using the older mod manager too or starting bzone by command line or a script with different configuration files. A good test whether a connection problem is related t...

Re: beyond raknet/instant replacement
Had a lot of freezes though. Not sure who's the culprit but I never had any issues before with 1.3.6.5 offline or online. VSR 5.0 crashes 100% of the times while loading a map, even single player, so it might be something on my side. Tried Tunngle ... I have no freaking idea how to host or join gam...

Re: beyond raknet/instant replacement
I did some testing today on Gameranger with feldheld and bulletmagnet. VSR5.0 und UEP mods worked fine using TnT's mode selection tool and I suspect so should every other mod, because as I understand it Gameranger is just an external matchmaking and than does nothing but starting bzone.exe with a &q...

Re: BATTLEZONE 2 TOURNY
If i'm not mistaken Gameranger is not a VPN but more of an external matchmaking server, somewhat similar to gamespy but "outgame" instead of "ingame".

beyond raknet/instant replacement
Alright since it looks like we will have to make without raknet in the (near) future, I'd like to list/discuss instant alternatives to keep the shrinking community alive and that allows globally distributed players to find each other. a) Gameranger ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GameRanger ) b) Tun...

relay bunkers
I got a question with regard to the use of relay bunkers in this release (uin mpi mod). On some maps the relay works as before but on other maps I get menu screen of sort instead of the satellite view. I the selection list on the top left there is the string "activate" listed, but i can re...

Re: VSR 5.0 Released
Thanks for the upgrade, I like in particular making more races available and offering all maps for mpi as well. In particular the latter is rather neat.
