That's what I suggest too.
If the router can be disabled, you are better off buying a decent one.

Re: NatNegotiate Failed: Unknown Error
It may not be Windows Firewall.
Your Router has it's own firewall you have to account for.
We had one person who couldn't host for at least six months, he ended up having to get his ISP to edit his router settings.
He had a cable model/router bundle.

It's a shame headlights don't provide a tactical advantage, as opposed to being purely cosmetic.

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.7.1 Public Beta released
It looks like Mase and Yeah had the same AV? Did you noticed anything out of the ordinary before the crash? Did anyone join your server, prior to the crash? I think I've experienced the crash once or twice. I believe GSH stated it was from a memory leak so there wasn't any info in the crash info its...

You could always use Volume Shadow Copies to restore to a previous version of the log folder.
This is a Windows feature that has been around since Vista.

Re: Virtual Computers for testing a "sync error" issue
I believe I was able to get VMWARE workstation to run bz2, but that tends to be around $200 plus the cost of the OS. I guess you could install Windows and never specify a product key, during the install. This will give you 30 days to toy with bz2 before the grace period ends, requiring a reformat/re...

Re: New DLL callbacks - any requests?
Easier said than done. It's hard enough to find G66 games, it's even harder to find stock games.Could always swap out the G66 DLL for a Stock DLL to see if it still happens. If I had the source to RD's G66 I could check to make sure it's not DLL caused.

Observations When using the GreenHeart variant, I noticed the following. 1. Factory still using stock model 2. Power gen using stock model 3. Armory using the stock model 4. The walled assault tower, the one with two barrels, has a model/odf issue. This triggers an invalid turret prompt. I don't hav...

Re: G66 Using Coxxon's BZIIRemodeled - A Test
I took a look at MPIDunes66.bzn and noticed the following. The base pools are a member of the group ScrPool4* (ScrPool4a, ScrPool4b, and ScrPool4c). This is why the player always got one base pool, when randomization was on. I believe it always cycled between 4a and 4b, as I don't believe I had ever...

Re: New DLL callbacks - any requests?
Would it be possible for a dll to check if a client/host are out of sync? Currently I'm seeing quite a few resyncs in G66. Unfortunately I have no way of knowing if the dll is triggering the resyncs or something in the engine is. Being able to log what the dll is doing, and within the same log, bein...
