Re: BZ Redux impressions
The terrain itself is a 4x upres, but the new atlas system uses (up to) 64 256x256 textures baked into 2048x2048 diffuse, normal, emissive, and specular textures with an additional 2048x2048 detail texture drawn over the top.

Re: Life Imitating Art?
The definitions of "planet" and "dwarf planet" are mutually exclusive. A planet must have cleared its orbit of other objects, while a dwarf planet must have failed to. The two are not compatible.

Re: Life Imitating Art?
How are articles written in 2015 still referring to Pluto as a planet? It's been ten years!
(It also annoys me that Ceres is referred to as "a giant asteroid" when it has the same classification as Pluto...)

Re: Look what I found!
My collection exists purely to ensure I have everything archived, hence most being sold on. Copies of The Red Odyssey are incredibly rare and are probably worth more than all of these put together. They became even rarer when all the unsold copies Robert Waring had in his garage were destroyed in a ...

I thought I'd already posted this here, but apparently not. This is one of the downsides to running the wiki.
No duplicates, and most will be sold one once I've finished using them.

Especially for games that are out of print and can only have a limited number of legitimate copies available. I'm not sure this counts as a collector's item since Jamsh's original copy was destroyed (as mine was, unfortunately )

I've been grabbing foreign language copies of both games left right and centre over the last few weeks, it's interesting what turns up.

There are 32 tiles in total covering every release in the series, including one for the BZ2CP. All are created from official source material; most simply involved ...

Yep. Mike Arkin was the one who announced it to us - after, I recall, doing some suspicious-looking poking around on the forum - and confirmed Ken's involvement in August.

Only instance of Dunes I've ever known exist for BZ1 outside blue banana's Destiny map pack is in BZE, I'm afraid.
@RD: 1.5's development has ceased permanently so Ken can work on the remaster that replaces it. More details here.

MPI maps use lua scripting, and there are no stock ones. Where did you get Dunes?
