i'm hearing the spool-up, but the weapons fire while it's spooling up. were you going for the gatling effect where the barrels spin up before firing or something else?

other than that, adjust colors in gameprefs by copying the settings to localprefs.ini or use the console commands.

i think that the LookAt() parameters for the turrent encounter were reversed in 1.0 and corrected in 1.3.
