silly rabbit, it is you who isn't reading posts properly
Can I just drop this back in again? If you're going to argue in a thread don't pick and choose your posts.

Question:
Red Devil wrote:isn't this kinda moot after Ken's work?
Answer:
ssuser wrote:While some may scoff at people who spend many, many hours porting over a game, here it needs to be pointed out that while Ken did patch bz1, he did NOT put in some things that were desired, like dll capability for scripting, any IA mission launching screen, flexible naming, etc., and compared to BZ2, the graphics for BZ1 really do suck, you just can't compare the 2 engines on that level.

So this mod has genuine value for BZ modders and players.

I for one am looking forward to trying it, been toying with BZ2 again recently as prep.

I would agree on the factory weapons mod, though, that is one thing that bz2 got right. I hope that Satellite works like BZ1, though.
all the other replies to that question are either attacks or fluff and are thus rendered...moot. :D

good work, Avatar and GBD

BTW, who said Ken was finished?

NO.
Not only is it an answer, but it's in bright red and size 200. I'm amazed you missed it.

Create a new thread for discussing this mod. I will participate! (Not going to make it though)
Than move all the clutter there as well.

I think GBD needs mod control of his own release threads.

Or the staff could do its job, which it looks like they did btw.

You see, there are staff for a reason. Giving the OP power over their own thread is often a horrible idea. Hell, having a moderator being an OP can lead to some pretty big BS if that moderator can't detach his responsibility from his vested interest in his topic.

I am still disgusted with the general hypocrisy, selective quoting, and general dismissive-ness above. (Edit: Not you Apollo)
