Summer Namm
While it is a little ways away, I can ahrdly contain my excitment. Who here is pumped for Namm? I am! I am hoping that BOSS will fianlly release an ME-70 Bass version, so I can fianlly wipe that annoying, smug grin off my guitarists face! I also expect for Gibson to probably be coming out with more and more signature model guitars, they need some way to make money. Also thinking that Fender will through out a new models as well, and Ibanez will defiantely have some intresting stuff to offer.
What are you guys expecting out of summer Namm this year?

Re: Summer Namm
I've been in Piano, Organ and Keyboard sales for 24 years so the winter Namm interested me more until they moved it out west all the time. I'll post pics of my studio one day. I like to see Roland come out with a new line of KR pianos and arranger keyboards. I wouldn't trade my G-70 for anything.
I few years ago I started repairing instead of selling full time. I repair player pianos, keyboards, organs and digital pianos as well as the areas only Polyester repair person. Let me know if I can help out in someway.

Heh, I wish Roland still made synths like the old Juno series.

Re: Summer Namm
Never been to one. How do they handle demoing product? Is there music coming from every direction, at every booth, making it a sea of noise?
Re: Summer Namm
At Winter NAMM, they let you play any instrument they have on the floor that's not locked up. I expect that it's the same at Summer NAMM.
And yes, it can get very loud, especially when standing between the booths of the major guitar and drum manufacturers.
BTW, Fender basically gets its own floor. The bastards.

Well, we do actually get our winter, but it doesn't happen until March.
