The Bourne Legacy

I liked this movie. The writing left some to be desired, but Jeremy Renner really brings a charismatic performance to this movie and I really wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of his character's story.

Yeah. Renner does a good job. I wasn't a big fan of the plot itself though. Norton was underused, and now as a HUGE Fight Club fanatic, I want me some Ed Norton in my movies.

Seeing how excited everyone that watched that movie is I probably should go see it myself, but every time I could I dont ... I probably should just ignore my instinct here and just go see it.

Deadgirl (2008)

Fresh from seeing it.

It revolves around the story of two lifelong friends (Rickie and JT), who go about drinking and causing playful mayhem in an abandoned Asylum where they eventually discover a young woman, presumably dead, deep in the underground tunnels where high-risk patients were taken from building to building without having to go outside. JT discovers she's a zombie, and decides to chain her to a hospital bed and use her as a fleshlight. Eventually, he decides to reel in other people who are desperate so he can make money off her in secret. Rickie and JT's friendship crumbles after this, as Rickie sees that it's wrong to chain someone in your basement and rape them whenever you want. Although, this said someone would sooner eat your brains than anything else, so... it's questionable at worst.

Eventually Rickie gets the negative attention of a couple of angry jocks who haul the three palpable necrophiliacs back to their "basement" after Rickie gets caught eyeing up one of the Jock's girlfriends and another friend (Wheeler), brags about their unwilling undead girlfriend. Stuff goes quite downhill from there, as JT and Wheeler eventually learn that their Zombie is getting a bit trashed and they may need to replace her with someone else by way of being bitten by the zombie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXPj0s8rZms

The dialogue leaves much to be desired, but I did fin a few lines to be morbidly funny. Noah Segan, (who was also in Looper), gives an enjoyable performance. Interesting and funny in sections. Very enjoyable film, albeit predictable at parts.

Dredd (2012)

I enjoyed it a lot more than the press did; it pretty much bombed, for some reason, which kills all hope of the rest of the trilogy coming out. Karl Urban's performance was remarkable considering his mouth is the only part of his face you ever get to see.

Going to see the last from Mr Tarantino tonight :)
I can probably already state how I am going to experience it, but I'll report in later to spread the word.

^Great movie. Wouldnt even clasify it as a 'must see', but as a 'must buy'!

Heavy Traffic

Your living room will smell of 70's era Times Square after viewing. As with most Ralph Bakshi films, not for the meek or prudish. Bonus for cameos of pre-crt video games.
