Could use some rain here, too. It's been pretty damned dry. But we won't get any of Irene. Between the drought and the deer, my garden is a write-off this year.

And I haven't even had the opportunity to take some nice lightning pics.
Some weak aurora pics, but that's about it (speaking of droughts).

My dad is in Dale City. He was just 20 miles from the epicenter of that earthquake. Now a hurricane is comining, whew worried about him.

we hardly ever get hurricanes up here in the mountains... :( i'm kinda tempted to fly there just to experience it.
