I'd also say:
Roots Manuva - Awfully Deep.

And I couldn't not recommend Company Flow, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Deltron3030, Handsome Boy Modeling School, or the Hieroglyphics.

I have actually listened to Handsome Boy Modeling School not knowing it was considered rap. (btw has anyone else noticed a massive lack of avatars?)

It is. Dan the Automator has pretty diverse tastes and interests in music, which is why you have such an odd collaboration of artists on HBMS albums.

I have probably unknowingly listened to stuff from him before in connection with Gorillaz.

Well if you listened to their first album, then yes you did. :)

About the avs.
GSH told me to re-upload my avatar. Now it seems a lot of them are working.

I have recently expanded my musical tastes to include Daft Punk, Royksopp, Hot Chip, and Basshunter.

Never got into Daft Punk. No particular reason. I don't hate them or anything, I appreciate what they do...I dunno.
For whatever reason I liked Kid606 better, but only about 50% of his material. Maybe they don't compare. Yeah, my bad. Not the best comparison.

Try these songs: Digital Love, Human After All, and of course Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Those are my favorites anyway.

I also have recently come to like Fever Ray's music. So creepy, I'd like to choreograph to it.

I've never heard of Kid606. I'll have to give it a listen.

He's got a pretty big library. I dunno what to suggest from his catalog, but here's a great video done up for one of his songs:

I tried some of his music. I think it's a bit to ravey and glitchy for me.

It is, which is why I listen to so little of it.
Some of it doesn't sound that way, and those rare tracks are somewhat amusing.
