cool, maybe it's not completely swarming with fetid swarms of resource-devouring lifeforms as ours is.
"super-Earth" seven times our planet's mass,
They would probably be crawling...or maybe just specialise in being very flat.

Cool, I'd still rather sail the boat than fly the balloons though :)

If given the truth, the people can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts - and beer.

well, yeah, this makes sense...

Out of 175,554 registered voters, 247,713 vote cards were cast in St. Lucie County, Florida on Tuesday. Barack Obama won the county.

Having read the comments, I can safely say that your country has an unusually large proportion of idiots.

Also, the voting turnout thing is apparently because there are two cards per voter.

That doesn't even make sense. Nor does the whole thing where the ballot chain of custody is not clear on the absentee ballots, nor were ballot counter observers able to properly see the counts. Lots of shenanigans in that one little place. I mean, an early vote recount, for no reason, that suddenly swayed the election direction by thousands of votes? Before the normal votes were even tallied?

Maybe Republicans should have welcomed the election monitors instead of threatening to have them arrested.

Your information is highly flawed. Of course, you won't admit that. Most people who says things like that refuse to look at the actual facts.

Of course, if you can find support for that, its a 1 off in a single state, and not something as systemic as what happens the other way.

Its not my information, links to the articles are in another thread, its was also reported by the BBC and other media organisations, I take no ownership of it whatsoever. I am sure the courts concerned have excellent records too.
Its about time all your politicians stopped twisting the truth and attempting to manipulate everything and anything they can to their own advantage, it shows a deep disrespect for the process of democracy, the actual purpose of government, and the voters themselves. I can only wonder at how your loyalties remain intact.

I don't have these specific loyalties you speak of. You try to say I do, you try to paint me as that, but I don't. In a political discussion, neither party likes me. I am registered independent and, normally, my ballots are a dotting of Dems, Reps, and various independents based on their beliefs, promises, and records.

I check all the facts before I make statements about what side is doing what, and the truth is that there is a far larger amount of such shenanigans on the liberal side. There is also the distinct issue that any time a conservative is called to have done something, the media reacts wholly differently than if a liberal is accused of the exact same thing, even if the liberal has been called out with damning evidence.

In my research, I have found that not only is the media of the United States, but much of Europe is extremely left leaning. Whenever this is pointed out, or god forbid something with a neutral point of view, or a contrary, it is demonized. I have had several discussions with AHadley and been aghast at the flat out incorrect 'facts' told to him and his country by his media. Often times, the medias outside of the US are even more off then those here.

It is almost as if everything you hear outside of this country, about this country, is a case of whisper down the lane where every party has a leftward bent. I am still shocked that, in this country, I can watch 3 different news channels, and get 3 different SETS OF CATS, because each saw fit to omit different bits to make the facts fit their opinions.
