That would be the misuse of logic. Just like how statistics can be made to say anything, unless the person reading them is also a statistician. Any logical mind would see the flaws in the false logic used to come to wrong conclusions confidently. This is also why conclusions in science are so very very specific so as to only include what could be known from the experiments and not conjecture.

Logic can be perfect, but if it's based on bad facts you'll get a bad conclusion.

Unfortunately the more interesting the thing is you want to figure out, the lower the quality of the facts you get to use.

Oh, believe me, any form of body matter can do that. You should see the drains at work when nobody's thought to completely purge them for a few weeks. Think open sewer crossed with active decay.

Unfortunately so. I'm technically a lifeguard, but somebody has to clean the place and they have to do something with us when we're not poolside.

Pretty good. Unfortunately the council are cutting everybody's hours, so not so good any more.
