Unknown File Types

Post by Vadam »

I have obtained the ISOs of a game, both being the same game but on different consoles. When I open them I find that I am unable to find something to open any of the files inside, as google provides no results. Gamecube version on the top, PS2 version on the bottom. I'm posting this here on the off-chance one of you knows anything about ripping assets from these kinds of games.

I rip game assets for fun but I'd need access to the actual files to figure anything out.
Extensions mean nothing when it really comes down to it.

PC based files are always easier to work with of course because they are using byte orders native to the platform.

Yeaaaaa I forgot to say you probably shouldn't link files because that would be pirate links :3

One thought: GC discs were limited in size; PS2 had most of a DVD-9 available. One might be optimized for minimal size, one for speed -- reduced disc seeks by replicating data.
