It does look to be a pretty heavy infringement on Avatar.

The idea for this story came way before avatar was came on the screen and the image was the closest the art department had on there end. I did not pick the image, they did when they made the document at BooksToGoNow. I suppose if the professionals picked the image, I guess it was okay.

The story does not involve the Avatar movie or related to it.

Hope this clears some thing.

All I'm saying is, there's no doubt that image is heavily or entirely influenced from the film Avatar. Right down to the pattern of luminescent dots marking the face. Whether or not the art department of the firm has permission is another issue.

Did the art department pick that god awful typeface too? :-P

Avatar was a quite generic story. I bet it has like 1000 tropes, but I need to sleep and thus can't go to tvtropes atm.
