Battlezone and Truespace share one thing in Common.

Very few people seem interested in either of them anymore. If it weren't for a a few die hard fans of both it's a wonder why either is still alive and kicking for dear life. I like both for different reasons each of which is purely related to the personal pleasure both give me. Real life always seems to get in the way of doing much with either......zzzzzz

Why there's so much hostility towards a particular 3D modeling software I'll never understand except by the same old people who actually go out of their way just to post a rude comment and they they wonder why people get nasty with them afterwards. Way to go Neilk you take the prize everytime. To each his own I guess I like Truespace and could really care less whether any one else does just thought I'd mention the same seems to be true for the current state of BZII as well. Thanks for sharing anyways. ;)

It's okay that truespace is used by you.

IIRC spAce used truspace to make the Zepher race in ZEmod.

NO.
NO!
The hostility is toward YOU. Because YOU feel some constant need to babble about it and never shut the f*ck up. You have gone out of your way to attack me before simply because I refused to side with you (and your side was the asinine 'everybody use Truespace or simply make it work for what I want to use it for') going so far as the run around saying that I killed BZU and at one point putting that very thing in your signature.

You act like a pestilent child. You don't shut the f*ck up about your beloved Truespace, that no one else uses, and then turn into a b*tch when people do not bow down in the name of the all mighty program and your ugly as hell, and NEVER improving, models. Even more so not only do you refuse to improve in any way, you attack anyone for even mentioning something about 3dsMAX in one of your HUNDREDS of topics (I am of course counting those from BZU, we have kept you from spamming the hell out of this forum). You edit your topics just so that they would indicate as new (on BZU where SMF was used, good luck doing that sh*t here), you attack anyone you don't like, and you constantly make snide remarks.

How the hell do you EXPECT people to react when you assault them and jump in front of them waving your arms around 'Truespace! Truespace! Truespace! Truespace!'? I could care less if you were saying 'PASTA' it's f*cking annoying.

You use Truespace, fine.
You don't like me, fine.

What is not fine is the plague you bring to every BZ forum you post on!
"You should use Truespace, your modeler sucks, use Truespace, use it, use it, use it." NO!
"You know what, X is like Truespace." NO IT ISN'T!
"You just hate Truespace." NO! I hate YOU.
"You just hate me because of Truespace, and because you are evil." NO! I hate you because you cannot learn simply when the shut, the f*ck, up and not attack me.

You are lucky I respect the site owners and the authority they have given me or I would have long ago banned you from every site I have the power to do so ever since you went on a tirade blaming me exclusively for the maniac whom killed BZU. You are and will forever be banned from my website, where I am the owner, because there I have the prerogative to do so. You need to learn to stop the slander, stop the attacks, and most importantly, when no body cares, SHUT THE F*CK UP!

Remember, at every turn, it was you whom attacked me. I did not come after you, I did not slander you, you slandered me, you made insinuations about me, you defamed my name.

I don't see how you could come out of this thinking you are a godly clean begin, but somehow you do. You are the single most diluted person I know on the entire face of the planet, in every community I am or have been a member of, and that is a lot.

I know any reply you make is just going to ignore these blatant reveals of your past actions and call me names or some such, but I figure anyone who bothers to read this topic, if it does not get thrown in the trash bin, will see the type of person you are.

To quote the offensive thing you said in another topic, we are not a "community of misfits", YOU are the 'misfit'.

I believe he used the expensive as hell Lightwave. His texture baking instructions seem to support that, as do his screenshots of WIP models.

Nielk I would have quoted your last post but but it really goes off topic and shows why you tend to grate on my patience. My point was a valid comment. Both BZII and Truespace have a handful of dedicated users at present. Your use of bold type on Truespace and reminding us all of what we apparently already know was pointless.

You should take some anger management therapy guy as I really must get on your nerves apparently in excess. I might also mention that a handful of BZII modders have used Truespace quite sucessfully even before I discovered it a few years back. Most notabley Slaor's Truespace models for Forgotten Enemies, and now with Black Dragon's information about SpAce's use for ZeMod. I might also add that both Truespace and Battlezone II had a huge following at one time that apparently has changed as I noted in my original post. If possible let's nip the anger thing before the flame thing ignites again.

Your original point about banning me from the forums is a bit overboard don't you think?

Really? We're really going to do this AGAIN?

Actually no, because I am going to try putting a stop to this.....

Klink, While the initial point you made had some shred of credability, you have lost it when you essentially slapped Neilk in the face with your response to his factual statement that the large majority of the BZ2 community was never intrested in/used Truespace. Given the many times that you have done such actions agaisnt Neilk and the rest of the BZ2 community, many times of which I have had to painfully live through, Neilk's tirade there is understandable and in a few ways appreciated..

Let me get something through your head, now that BZU is gone, we are all still trying to rebuild the community the best that we can. You being a prick, bashing everyone who does not use a different modeling software, failing to listen to reason, is detrimental to the community's recovery at this point in time. And if you ARE the person I think you are from BZU, this point is amplified tenfold.

In essence, we have enough to deal with without having to deal with you. Grow up, shut up, take responsibility for your actions, and stop acting like an ignorant child who just wants to be right all the time.

There.

There.
If you want to build the community then let posters post freely. If you could only follow your own advice about asking others to zip it then I'd be happier too. The forum is a mixed bag of posters as it is. I don't post here because I want you to like me; I post stuff for other people too. It's true that Truespace was never widely used by BZII modders, but my point was just as valid about BZII's decline in popularity as well. I just want to left alone to do my own thing. Is that so hard to understand? Let Klink post some stuff about Truespace if he wants too people. What harm can it do? ;)

None, but constantly smashing it down our throats does.

How to NOT read posts that do not interest you, or annoy you.
1. Read the subject title, if it contains a reference to something you have no interest in, DO NOT CLICK IT.
2. Quickly Scan the first post, if it contains a reference to something you have no interest in, DO NOT READ IT IN FULL.
3. If you have started reading it in full, and suddenly find yourself uninterested, annoyed, or thinking about something else entirely, Click View New Posts and select another thread...
None of you are obliged to read Col Klinks truespace threads, or reply to them and I certainly feel that people are being rude to him by posting against them. There will be a few people out there interested in a free modeling program who will welcome some advice.

Give the guy a break and just ignore his threads if you are not interested in them!

Thank you TwoSheds I just want to be left alone to post my silly little articles that's all.
