My Best Organic Work Thus Far
I made this in the past few days. Everything is from scratch, expect for of course the textures. The hair is difficult, and it's still a work in progress, but I'm rather proud of it, as I haven't been able to get this far in previous attempts at humans.

I am impressed.
Always wondered what it would be like if ISDF and Scion soldiers took off their hemets.

Hmm, the eyelids seem a bit too thick. Or maybe the eyes are recessed... Not quite sure.
Either way, far better than anything I could have done. I'm still trying to master stick figures.

That's very impressive o_O
Only thing I can think of is that the ear looks a little weird.

Re: My Best Organic Work Thus Far
The human hand is probably THE hardest thing to model in 3D with the exception of the human face and not become mired in the Uncanny Valley.
In 2D, I believe, I have done a fairly believable face, but have never been able to climb out of the uncanny valley in 3D. Problem is, the face needs accuracy and dimensional relationships to within a percent to be believable. Around the eyes, nose and mouth is immensely difficult, as you've also discovered.

OMG It's Lisa Lohan on Crack!
But seriously, the balding in the middle and the super surprised eyes makes this image creepy.

I must say I think he's doing very well, no false supermodel good looks here, they look very much like the average chav in the street, those ugly plucked eyebrows are very much a real-world reality.
