In a sudden turn of events, Microsoft today confirmed they will NOT be releasing an Xbox 360 successor, but will be sticking to software development and publishing for the foreseeable future.

Well that was short-lived, assuming its true. Not saying it isn't, but I'd need a couple more sources to piece it together. I'll do some research a little later about it, since its interesting to see Microsoft ditching the console market considering the success of their consoles, to some degree.

This was an April Fools joke. Look at the source on that website. BUT, with all the drama going on with Orthy, Microsoft may have just dug it's own grave.
