Crysis 3

Post by Ded10c »

So Crysis 3 is in closed alpha. All of its players are under NDA, but first impression? It's exactly the same as Crysis 2, just in a jungle.

It needs to be like Crysis 1, open world. Crysis 2 was extremely linear map. boring doom3/quake4 remake.

I hate jungles. Take me to the Tokyo sewers.

The whole game should be one big sewer level.

^That.
After playing Crysis I hoped I could continue that in Crysis Warhead, which didnt happen. #2 Doesnt seem to improve and as I understand is like Warhead and now you tell me #3 doesnt get much better either...

There's no singleplayer in the alpha as yet, so I can't speak for that.

Agree with this one. Jungles are played out....especially in Crysis. #2 just kind of bombed IMO. Would like to see a different setting.

It turned up in my inbox. The website also suggests there's a promotion on Facebook, but it may be over now.

Jungles was good in Farcry but they should do something different for each version.
Both story and game play has been droping off.
