A work in progress indie-made FPS

Post by Clavin12 »

This is a *beautiful* work in progress FPS game made by no more than 10 independent game developers over the course of 9 months. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udEAEARD ... detailpage

Amuses me how an indie team make better mech games than Activision.

Looks almost like it's leapt out of a film.

Pretty.

Is it more Mech-Warrior like or more Armored-Core like? In both construction of mechs and play? For those unawares that would be Solid mechs with weapon choices VS entirely modular mechs and lots of ground walking with some jump jets vs ape **** insane flying all over the place.

I'm not sure. You'd have to see the video. There wasn't a demo or anything.

Looks to me like there's quite a lot of flying, but I'm not sure about modular-ness.

It does look amazing. Especially for an indie. I like FPS' much much better when it's a sim-type game, instead of a wrist-twitch.

Looking forward to seeing it polished up for the market.

Not an actual indicator of quality? It's a shame that people will buy the product expecting this but instead will find

CUBE!

Upon installation! Now with Z axis traversal!

Maybe a little too much fps instead of giving the game a bit more simulator feeling

What! This is the BZ2 forums! Need I be the first to say it?

"Pretty graphics, but what's new about the gameplay?"
