Hey, FallenAngel, why do most of your posts reek of spambot?

Actually now, I've gotten into the legit game. I use the hack tool sometimes, but I have a world in which I play the actual game without cheating, which is good for time wasting. Or something. Took me forever to find my way back to the mine I made when I died.

I generally have two open at the same time - one with invedit, one without. I wasn't much of a user of the seeds tool until I discovered 404 - massive cave system hidden under a gravel sinkhole near the spawn. I love exploring caves :P

Never used seeds tool. Is it in there when you create a world or something?

Im pretty sure that when you type in a random name for a seed and if you remeber it, you can go to the same exact map spawn in another world.

The same map will be generated, but IIRC the spawn point will be generated randomly.

Also of note is the fact that seeds are really only numerical - a seed with letters in is converted to one with just numbers in.

I thought that the game tried to spawn you near the center of the world. e.g. 0, (ground), 0

Near, but not at.

Wow this is an old thread. I barely play any more, but it's still useful for designing buildings :P I recently re-purposed a certain stone-slabs-and-blue-wool fortress for something...

This game makes me feel like I am playing 2-bit Color Pong with a bunch of lifeless creepers.

If you know what I mean :)

Subtly modified and transferred in FeedTheBeast instead. It's become the home of the mad scientists Violet and Viridian Marques in a novella called Driscoll Red :P
