I've done tons of research and watched ton of videos, I can't shake off the anticipation
What is your view on the upcoming game

I've seen the trailer and I must admit it looks pretty good. id seem to be going in a slightly different direction.

Id in my opinion has been dormant since Doom 3
I think this is going to be their awakening and hopefully it will being them back to the mainstream of gaming

They've done a lot since then, but Quake 4, Quake Live, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Wolfenstein (2009) are the most significant ones.

I've never heard of those but this one has more publicity .

Never heard of any of them? Those are the more significant of them, I left out things like releases for iOS (of which there were a lot). Seriously though, you've never heard of Q4 and ETQW?

Have you ever heard of the game Doom Baconboy . Id practically invented the Fps.
Look up Rage it looks pretty impressive

I've heard of Doom. I'll look up Rage and see what it is.
And Goldeneye 007 for N64 INVENTED fps.

Wolfenstein 3D (May 1992) was a FPS done by iD software, and was released before Doom was. And Doom (Dec 1993) was out years before Goldeneye N64 (Aug 1997).

Exactly right I still have doom 1,2 and 3 have quake 4 played goldeneye got the new wolfenstien and RTCW and watched the new trailer for rage which lookes like it will "dominate the skyline like a mushroom cloud"

I have to say that the editing tools impress me, it looks fantastic.

The thing is, I HATE it when editing tools like that are not made publicly available, so if RAGE doesn't come with an editor, I won't keep the disc in the tray.

GTK Radiant supports idT games, so the new version should hopefully support RAGE.

Hopefully it can live up to the hype around it
