Conflict Astray Mod

I have recently though up some ideas for a mod which tells the story of an *ALIEN* race, from their point of view, what happens when biometal struck their world, the global war that follows.

The planet will be Netranos, the Species...the netrians.

The story goes a little like this....

BIOMETAL STRIKES NETRANOS:
In the first periods of the cycle of 2600, strange comets had been striking netranos in 3 main areas, on the coats of the nations of Ushtan, Varsii and Solocon, various observation noted a strange metallic, shiny, near liquid substance seeping out of the impact zones, quickly, teams from the 3 main nations planned and executed operations in these impact zones to secure and research the substance they dubbed biometal.

In Varsii and Solocon it was called 'Liten' pron. "Lee-ten" (Varsii is an approximately 300 cycle old colony of Solocon that became independent.

In Ushtan it was called 'Kalash-rhan' pron. "Kal-as'h-raan"

The cycle was 2601; the Island of Sitkras in the southern hemisphere had been divided up into 3 nations, the Ushtan Empire, the Ehsristzon Republic and the Wakas Union, the emperor of the Ushtan had been using this new 'biometal' to build up an army, a massive army, one capable of conquering the world...
In cycle 2601, Period 9, Rotation 14, the Ushtan Empire declared war on the Ehsristzon Republic, their forces quickly reacted, lining up majority of their armada on the southern coast of the Sythian Peninsula, they were obliterated, and the Wakas Union Colony of Gyerith attacked the Ushtan city of Wevetan, the Ushtan empire swiftly conquered the Gyerithian territory, the Ehsristzon Republic knew of their inevitable mass loss of territory, so they set up the Garicas line, in hope of repelling more attacks, they entire republic force was annexed, the Ushtan empire sent massive attack fleets toward the continents of Harkis and Recen by early cycle 2602 only a small resistance remained on the Riveszti Peninsula on Sitkras, this was known as the Mass Ushtan Annexation of 2602.
In a chain reaction the Varsii Corprocracy, the Solocon Federation and the United states of Oroset had attacked the Ushtan advancements along the coastlines of the island of Sitkras, all attempts to secure a base of operations had failed, then after the first invasion fleets had landed on Harkis; more accurately Varsii territory, they Ushtan had quickly taken advantage of the country’s unpreparedness for war, they sent legions of soldiers, nearly 100 battalions of tanks and heavy artillery straight into Varsii territory, by the end of 2603, most of the south-eastern region below the Kol Harbour had been annexed by the Ushtan Empire, their empire set up multiple Base’s of operation around many key cities and set up AA defences and well as coastal defences to bolster their massive continental incursion forces. Simultaneously the Ushtan Empire had expanded its war council and increased their industrial capacity, pumping hundreds of battle units each rotation.

The planned factions will be so far:
The Varsii Defence/Offence Initiation (VDOI)
The Ushtan Imperial Assault Armada (UIAA)
The Solocon Defense Force(SDF)

The mod will follow the story of Xeten IIyth and his journey with the VDOI forces; in witnessing the destructive capabilities given to the Ushtan from the skies which was unleashed on the nations of the world.You will play as Xeten, combating the Ushtan forces, driving them out of varsii and taking part in massive key military operations alongside your allied nations.It will cover an 8 year period, of course skipping parts here and there.

IMPORTANT:
I plan for this mod to be built on EPIC scale, that means epic sized maps, so any help with assets and what not would be appreciated, thanks.
Tell me what you people think for this mod concept.

I want to make the size and vastness of the continents explorable, I am already doing the heightmaps and putting them in-game, I plan to make all sorts of wonderful terrain objects, trees (very alien looking) and other flora., I figured if I complete the landscape first then I will have some inspiration to finish the assets, the planet of Netranos is one of large proportions, nearly twice the size of earth, It has 2 moons and orbits a binary star system (very alien).
I am trying to make the scale near real.I want to re-create, portray and ultimately make interactive, the fierceness of war; air raids, open field assaults with artillery, bombings, dogfights even infantry battles and heroes, yet from an alien perspective.

BUT, I will make it as alien as possible, I am creating a very detailed back story, history and culture for all the countries and cultures on the planet.
However I will focus on creating a feasible worlds, race, culture, history of the planet, trying to make it as believable as possible.

AS you are all aware the year is 2011, by the time this mod gets released it will be 2013+, by then we should all have a decent enough computer to play this mod, If anyone is interested, please PM me and I will begin the creation of a 'CORE TEAM'.

Normally I would shrug this concept off as "meh" not gonna happen, but you seem to have a knack for following through. Color me interested.

Asking for assets without giving an idea of what you want may hurt the theme, unless of course you haven't picked a theme yet.

Give me a couple of days to sort through some stuff.I will chuck a few renders up, maybe make a couple of faction units...I really need people good with assembling a mod, mission scriptors later, maybe vo's and asset makers.

The theme is basically this:

Varsii

Sleek, curvish/angular vehicles, modern looking, emphasis placed on making it as smooth as possible.
Varsii units are medium sized, composed of nearly all hover vehicles with some aircraft, seacraft?, infantry and tracked vehicles.
Varsi units are the medium units of the factions, they are produced at a fast rate but aren't over strong.
Their greatest advantage is their artillary and aircraft.
Ushtan

Bulky, overly armed assault vehicles with excessive firepower and Armour, low speed.
The vehicles must look dangerous, loaded to the brim with guns, spikes, rods, blade looking attachments etc.
The ushtan will posses a superior assault force, with a significantly diminished underpowered force.
Ushtan structures will be stronger than those of the other factions.
The ushtan's advantage is their superior assault machines.

Solocon
The forces of solocon are very strange, they posses fairly uniform power throughout their military.Their forces are fairly well armed and armoured yet take advantage of using adv.computer AI systems to control their basic units, they rely on their veteran force of soldiers to command their most poerful units, the Mech Walkers, something unseen on this planet before, something the ushtan have attempted to replicate.

The race is fairly new to biometal, they have only been using it for 2 years but have gained a fairly good understanding of it's properties.

ENVIRONMENT:
The environment of Netranos is one of momentous proportions, the planet is nearly twice as large as earth, 2 times the gravity, 2 times the danger.The mountains are higher, the trees are bigger, the life is stronger, the planet orbits a binary star system consisting of a large red and a small blue star, 2 moons also orbit netranos, netranos is the second of 8 planets in the Cy'hras system.

The landscapes range from large thirin (grass) fields leading up gigantic plateaus, from ice fields to the far far north to the lush beaches and steady coastal forests and swamps.The atmosphere is blue like earth and very cloudy.

NETRIANS:
The netrian species stand from around 1.2-1.8m tall, they range from dark grey-light blue and dark red-to orange, depending on environment and proximity to the poles.They have a well developed brain and large eyes and are slightly reptilian in nature, they posses 6 digits to an hand; 4 fingers and 2 thumbs and are bipedal.The different factions have all developed a different writing and speaking system.

Jayden, you may have seen me around before, but I really do love BZ2 and have just acquired some C++ knowledge. I would like to at least be a minor help for this mod. I have very little experience and don't really know my capabilities, so I totally understand if I am not wanted. Anyways, count me in as a possibility!
