I just grab models i had done.
If you want to import models from Bz, just use the vdf importer, from Bz2, convert the xsi to 3ds format in 3D Exploration 1.5.5, then import to max.

I know about the Bz2 thing, it's just for me, when I use the vdf importer, it doesn't import anything... either that or it's REALLY tiny and unselectable..

I don't think Blake recompiled his importers for 3DS 2012 yet, could that be it?
If the model was small in the view, there is a button lower right that zooms in all views, the button looks like a window frame.

FYI:
The Pandemic XSI source code has been released, you can grab it here http://darkreign2.googlecode.com/files/R4SOURCE.zip

When you extract the files you'll find it in the path: \apps\maxxsi

Be careful with that, people have been finding malware in it.

Where is the malware in it and where is the original Pandemic release?
I didn't take a close look at the xsi code but the file sizes looked right, i could verify them if needed.
The version i compiled came from the Pandemic aussie studio so i know it's good.
