sun.ambientcolor was added Nov 11, 2010, well after the first few 1.3.5+ (i.e. DX9-supporting) builds were released. The numbers it print are multipled by 255 when they shouldn't be. (30 seconds with Windows calculator can undo this) You should be able to do "sun.ambientcolor 12 34 56 78" to set its r, g, b and a all at once.

The values don't get saved. You cannot set sun.ambientcolor. Will test again in 91m

I added console::sun.ambientcolor as a way to adjust .trn::[NormalView]::AmbientColor and preview changes. Want it saved? Go edit the .trn file.
