The crab wouldn't move for us either if a human piloted it, but a ai pilot could drive it around somehow.

TJ only assumes that it is the animations fault for the crab. No idea the true issue.

What, no credits list? Also, there are going to be an epicly huge **** of bugs, map descriptions are going to be wrong, and a buggered huge list of other issues.

I can't be buggered to go about fixing any of it since that has been ALL I have been doing after getting jerked around by TJ and then he turns around and drops the whole thing out public.

The first thanks I've gotten has been the buggered 'thanks to all' in some post numbered 3 or 4 or 5 here as an afterthought but I figure that wasn't directed at me since 90% of the **** I've done to fix the thing has been ignored. Still haven't received an apology for how I was treated in the whole thing.

Please note, the LMM1 program is a PROTOTYPE, and in the development cycle, prototypes are NOT meant to be released. So if it **** up your computer, even though I made it, don't come crying to me. That said, it should be fine, never broke my computer.

Played mpi map "Flanders Fields" with TnT, Pedro and MTS. Seemed fine for the most part.
1). The autotrucks seem like they work for a while then just sit there.
2). The hover scavs bring the bio-metal to rec, but so do the regular scavs. I kind of wish the regular scavs didn't do that, but it isn't really a big deal.

I love the UEP so far. Awesome job. I applaud everyone who worked on this.

Nielk1, should we not use the LMM1?
I personally thank you for your contributions. Now that you don't have this on your plate, join me and Windy in a game on occasion.

It should be safe.

I just don't want any anger directed at me if something goes wrong. We are talking like, undiagnosed heart condition wrong, not Pinto wrong. I was agaisnt the UEP being released in its current state you see and TJ offered no reply to my concerns, more a stone wall "this is what I am doing".

Considering the amount of stuff in it, I think he made the right choice, testing, fixing and balancing all that stuff in private would take years, probably still will, but players might save you allot of time finding it all.
It is probably not the animations that are wrong with the crab, but the hierarchy structure of the model, If you don't have the xsi's you probably can't fix it. Quietly push of edge of desk into bin, one less problem to deal with.

Axeminister wrote:Played the Mutator Rec variant "guns guns guns" and we, .... well, didn't know what to think about not being able to make towers. Was cool to see the buildings defend themselves. We also joined with some wacked out ships. The original arcade Battlezone tank and a couple others. They looked sort of cool, but didn't do any damage to anything. MrTwosheds joined and first thing he said was,.. "Why" . I'm sure he meant "why did we have to start with these ships"? lol, hey it was fun, we did lose though. Awesome stuff.
GGG was never finished and in the current SVN which everyone but TJ can understand, is sorted as so. I will probably be getting the dev team back together to work on this again. Hopefully I can convince TJ to submit his changes, NOT the the SVN for by his own admission he can't understand its layout and would probably break it, but to us so we can get them in the mix correctly.

I can make a clean part of the SVN if needed, not a big deal.

Though, N1 is right. GGG has never been completed that I'm aware, and ever since I left BZ2, development seemed to have came to a halt on this.

If anything, this should be noted as an alpha maybe, rather than a beta. But eh..

IMPORTANT WARNING

Please note that a good 90% of this was NOT complete and was NOT slated for even an alpha stage release. I am not responsible for any ruined games or damages caused by any files in this pack with my name, such as but not limited to the MRVP Reycler Pack and LMM1 prototype program. I should also be released from all legal liability from the inclusion of music packs with no rights in the LMM1 mod set as they were, from their inclusion and to the knowledge of all developing members, not to be released.

Any breaks in any part of this mod, with my name on it or otherwise are not and should never be considered indicatory of my ability or my practices. You use any content in this mod, created by me or otherwise, at your own risk with knowledge that it is not only incomplete but that it is possibly unstable. You will not use any content created by Nielk1 for your own uses sourced from this pack as it cannot be validated as correct, proper, or stable.

Examples of these issues include but are not limited too:
  • LMM1 has only been tested on several systems and has never been tested on a non-NTSF HDD formatted system. It is prototype software that was at the very least not meant to be released until it was properly tested.
  • The MRVP pack is primarily incomplete and many recs do not function at all.
  • Many maps with 0 testing were included. Some maps feature some 20 Ambush and Mega statues.
  • The MPI: GH Snowman map was released before it could be correctly patched with current DLL source. It may be unstable or lack features expected from even stock maps.
  • Numerous missing credits and acknowledgments due to the incomplete nature of some inclusions.
I would like to offer my deepest apologies to those parties with content included, badly, in this UEP release. I know that agreements were not honored and that in many cases the content does not reflect the original value of your works. I hope that these events do not dissuade you from participating in a future endeavor of a similar nature.

This should be quoted and copied into the topic opener.

Second link: http://www.mediafire.com/?e525lxawiewl5m8

Both are required as it is a part 7z. I'll debate if I want to upload elsewhere, but at the moment, I don't have any plans.
May I ask how to combine them with 7zip.

One application, of many that are availabe, I use to combine the files is MasterSplitter by Tomasoft.

Anyone else having problems when unticking 'use junctions' in the LMM options? I tried doing this because some of the mods wouldn't activate and now I can no longer join some maps (like hi-mid-low) because it says that I don't have the map. Reticking doesnt fix it.
