The Factory with some freshly built units. The only problem is with the building process. What do the HP_Powerup and HP_Vehicle objects do?

controls where the vehicle model is built from, and it's facing orientation.

I have an animated turret model, but the animation does not import. It is basic object animation, not vertex animation.

Like a deploy animation? Take a look at the current ivturr00.xsi set, along with the ODF, to see if you're missing something.

Yes, a deploy animation. There is the correct framework for animations at the end of the xsi file, but there are no values for the keyframes.

Ensure your animation controller in max for Rotation and Translation are TCB. That has not been default since around MAX r5 but it is what BZ2 needs. The scale controller doesn't matter since BZ2 ignores scale animation, but I tend to set that to TCB as well.

It needs some tweaking but it works. Also, can I have a single object be both an x and a y turret?

I don't think so. What you can do, though, is put in a small piece at the pivot of the turret object, make it the parent of the turret and the child of the body, and use that as one of the turrets.

Arggh! I just overwrote my addon folder by installing the latest patch, and lost all my successful imports. Oh well. I'll import them again, then release a pack of a few units for you all to try out.

EDIT: How can I make my units avaliable in multi player?

1.3 patching RENAMES your addon folder just in case. It is still there.

Also, you may get the occasional dirty rascal who wants to steal the model or texes.

In that case I'll take it down until I can post .msh's. I'm traveling so I can't do it now.
