Max does NOT default to TCB. You need to use TCB based animations.

Then...then how are mine working? You saw them in motion, whatever the default is.

You simply changed your default in the past and forgot.

TCB is horribly outdated, there is no way its the default in anything past MAX r3.

They are all set to tcb

edit/
Ok got it now, under the assign controllers title there is a mystery button with a ? on it. Despite the controllers all saying they are using TCB, unless you select each object set the default as tcb, they won't work.
Fun, If I ever get to design UI's I must remember to always put a small ? button somewhere and hide critical functionality behind it.
