In weapon G files, I see this line: wpnPriority = 0
What exactly does this control?

I always assumed it simply wasnt implemented and would have been used for the AI to compensate for a feature that wasnt implemented either, weaponlinking. Just a way to inform the AI what weapon in general has more umpfh, like an 8 for SP-stab and a 5-6 for Mortars (or such) and so a sabre would know to prefer SP-stab if none of its weapons take prio. cause of other criteria.
But thats probably just my brain making up stories

I ma guessing it is what BZ1 used to determine what weapons to replace when you got a power up crate. BZ2 works on selected/not selected for that.

Legacy code from bz1 I believe, doesn't seem to do anything, can be safely removed.

yes but I don't whant to wast my time looking though them for a setting I will never use.
in other words I don't whant to drop what I am doing and work on finding the dam thing.
he will ether test it to see if it dose any thing or look through the changelogs.
it is his problem not mine.

The setting was probably around since BZ2 1.0, or it may not even be in BZ2.
So, it wouldn't be in the changelogs

I was pointing out to Scav that he can find out what features were removed in the 1.3 patch by reading the changelogs.

You need windows grep or something like it to search the change logs for info, there is too much to read any other way.
I don't think you will find info on this though as I am fairly certain that it has always been inactive in bz2.

I like
Crimson Editor, personally.
It's free (My favorite feature), you can change the background and text colors so you're not stuck staring at a bright white page, it can search and replace and you can work on multiple files in tabs. I dunno what features you guys may need in a text editor, but Crimson Editor covers all mine. Plus it's free.
Edit: Kinda went off topic there... totally GBD's fault.

Crimson editor looks nice. It looks like Kate, my favorite text editor (for linux) for doing ODF edits.
Kate beats the pants off of Notepad++ because it uses a vertical file list instead of tabs, as well as its 'find in files' feature is faster and more precise than N++ and then there is session management, I open 'VSR Dev' session and it opens all the files I last had open when I exited that session last time.
