Yeah. It's a montage of photos. That galaxy is a real picture of Andromeda.

Are these derived from the chthonian, human, or ro'chukn-based Furies or just random furies that inexplicably look like the old ones?

Call me a stick in the mud, but am I the only one that doesn't find these impressive? I mean, the textures are real good, don't get me wrong, but a slight addition like this kinda doesn't make the Furies menacing.. makes them look silly if you ask me. But eh..

Chthonian furies were made by the chthonians, human furies were made by humans and are derived from the chthonian furies, and the ro'chukn furies I presume came about after the ro'chukns barely survived defeat at the hands of the human furies (complex story involving time travel and an alternate storyline that isn't resolved yet)

Well, juding from the more squared off look, and the man made bits in the texture, it appears they were manufactured by someone, and ...probably turned, again. OR maybe...just maybe....they ate too much cheese.

Considering the Cobra is one of my favorite species of snakes, that's probably why I don't find the fangs all that menacing.

Given their track record, it wouldn't surprise me if the QF found a chthonian relic and thought it might be fun to make what they saw inside.
