Does anyone have the game models converted to .obj? I want to save myself a bit of work of ripping and converting. Years ago I had zero knowledge of 3d modeling but now for the heck of it I want to start plugging in Battlezone assets as place holders in my engine as I continue to create my own art.
At this time I really only need the Thunderbolt and the scenery meshes. Until I work out how the maps will be created I took a break from coding all the in game objects. Right now I am experimenting with a mix of multiple height maps and assembling them as a sphere. My goal is to create a game reminiscent of Battlezone but on a planetary scale unheard of before in any game. Eventually I would like for the planet to be procedurally generated but even filling a static world 1/3 of the size of earth is no small feat.

Get a program called deep exploration, that should batch convert the xsi package.
http://matesfamily.org/bz2/ - This site should contain modder data pack/s which will have the original .xsi files, might be one of bzscrap aswell.
Hope that helps.
