If you are a beginner try Truespace 7.6 not repeat 7.61 but 7.6. It requires an IQ of absolute ZERO. If you have the bucks get Studio Max for the most compatible models; it requires a basic IQ though and some people claim it was designed by Swedish Gnomes; not really sure though?General BlackDragon wrote:First you whittle a model out of wood, then you put it into your disk drive.
sarcasm self test: complete.
But really, you get a modeling program, such as 3ds Max, Gmax, truespace, or some form of modeling program, then make a model and then go through hell finding a working exporter/converter to get it into XSI format. 3ds Max is easiest in this regard as it's got a direct exporter plugin. The others, well....jump some hoops.
Did you ever figure out how to get a model into BZII? Post some feedback for us so more people might actually start using it. What export format is working best for you? Also, does animation export too? The X format works the best with 3D Exploration, but I have tried the 3DS and COB exporter in Truespace to get BZII models in the game. COB, sucks, but the 3DS exporter works okay though.Clavin12 wrote:I of course am a big fan of Blender. It is free, powerful, and fairly easy to learn. However you'll have a time exporting models for bz2.

Go to college and get an education. You'll benefit in two ways: first, you will be able to communicate better, so people can understand you. The second benefit is that you won't have to pay as much, or any, for 3ds max. Then it's just the learning how to work it, and exporting with dummy's plugin...KingpinAkaDaRapper wrote:how do u make a 3d model and export into bz2 like .xsi model??
The second part is true all the time, though.Josiah wrote:Go to college and get an education. You'll benefit in two ways: first, you will be able to communicate better, so people can understand you.
