battlezone 2 host issues

hi i just got a battlezone 2 cd from a friend of mine. now that i have it i would like to know how to open ports to allow my games to be seen by others. should i go on my ip "website" or use some program. could someone help?

You would have to interface with your router by whatever method is required (in my experience, this is always the IP address of the router in a web browser) to forward the ports. I honestly do not remember which ports to forward at the moment because 1.3pb6 should allow you to host without manually forwarding ports and because of this I have not had to help anyone with that for a good while now.

yes, look for patch 1.3pb6 and install it over the game's root directory. Shouldn't have to set ports then and it's the latest patch.
