Re: When do you like to hit CTRL+B?
I bail when I keep spawning a ship I really don't want in DM. Usually the Heavy Vehicles that sometimes get thrown in DM games

Only reasons I bail are:
1: Sideways to go flying across the map a medium distance if I need to.
2: To damage something with the ship's explosion.
3: To change ships in DM If I really really hate the one I'm in.

Scion soldier: That ISDF ship looks interesting. Is it an experimental model? Could it perhaps be one that yields such destructive power that could to commandeered to bring about the enemy's fate? I must observe!Red Devil wrote:i bail a lot when testing when i enter the bunker to use sat view so that an enemy pilot doesn't hop in my test ship
*runs toward ship*
*sat bunker blows up*
*Scion bits fly everywhere*
Red Devil: Yes. That's how its done.

no. it's just a fast and invulnerable ship with one-shot weapons

"test ship". used for checking out the AI base, triggering anti-siege, etc. IOW, saves me tons of time.

I wonder if a cloaked morphtank would trigger anti-seige. VSR camera pods have the invulnerability and cloaking aspects that you might find useful RD. Though you could give it a dummy AI process and canHopout=1 so that it would be a more effective recon vehicle.

thanks, but i'm used to doing it this way. i get to blow stuff up and check if they rebuild properly and can come and go like the wind, then i just hop in the bunker and watch from afar.

Yes. DLL just looks for a player near AI base.Zero Angel wrote:I wonder if a cloaked morphtank would trigger anti-seige.

Or you can do a Comm Vehc, that bails into a camera pod (or RDs flying around ship), that bails back into a Comm Vehc, that bails back into a... you get the picture.
The comm vehicle can be edited to have an extreme detection radius so you would be able to see into the enemy base. Of course, dummy out the AI process so that AI pilots will not steal it.

Re: When do you like to hit CTRL+B?
playerOnly = 1/true will prevent them from entering, too. there was a reason i elected not to use that, but i forget. maybe something to do with wanting an AI teammate to grab it or something. besides, more fun to go for a skyride

Re: When do you like to hit CTRL+B?
Why bail out when you have the jetpack? Doesn't the person, who last shot you, get credit for the kill if you bail out? Why not just hop out then press c very quickly.
It also doesn't count against your score vs. bailing out.
