Hey, this is my first time installing/playing BZII since sometime around 2009 I think. A while back, I upgraded to Windows 7, and now have decided to install BZII. I did a little searching on how to install it on Win7, and ran the setup.exe from in the folder. The install went fine, and I restarted my computer. But now the tale takes a tragic turn...
Upon starting BZII, I immediately noticed that everything was offset about an inch or so higher on my monitor than it should be. The bottom of the main menu had about an inch of black unused monitor-space below it, and the top of it was off the top of my screen. I could still interact with it as though it were in the right place (the cursor would just go off the top of my screen, and I could hear the mouse-over sound of the various buttons), but I couldn't really see what I was doing. I fumbled around a bit, and managed to get into the video options menu, and tried several screen resolutions. None of them made any difference. I tried alt+enter to go into windowed mode, but it didn't do anything.
My system specifications (from Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System) :
Windows 7 Professional
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.39GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 3.00 GB
System type: 32-bit Operating System
My graphics card (what it says on the box):
NVidia GeForce 9400GT 1024MB PCIe 2.0 Graphics Card
What would you folks recommend I do?
It's about an inch too high!

Did you patch to latest - see http://matesfamily.org/bz2 for the latest BZ2 patch. Your post doesn't mention doing so. Out of the box BZ2 does not play well with recent Windows. BZ2 patches have vastly improved compatibility with recent Windows.
