Firstly, hello.

Secondly, I love it when I'm supposed to be writing a 3000 word essay and I end up writing a 6000 word ending story for QF2 instead.

Procrastination is manifestly illogical.


By the way, I've made the story fit the canon universe as perfectly as I could (without knowing what the heck is going to happen in CP2), and I'm going to need an absolute tonne of voice actors.

About 20 would do. Not yet, but later in the year.

And be prepared to say lots of things. Lots.

Oh, and I just noticed that the number "2" in your logo is of the same font used on Mercedes-Benz emblems. :ugeek:

I'll help you as best I can (VA). I can let you in on what's going on in CP2 as well.

Fairly radical. Yeah. I've gotta create another race now.

I can work my story around CP2's if I know what happens. If the storylines fit, maybe the mods can intersect...

I'm pretty sure they're set in the same time period. If not, there is still some wriggle room.

Immediately after FS2; early 2031.

EDIT: The above refers to Part 1. Part 2 and onward extends alongside and past the timeframe of FS3.

Hmm. QF2 starts early 2033. Same time as FS3 would be set. The later half of the story runs parallel to FS3.

Aeneans will be in the timeline by then, but they'll probably only make an appearance in works that take place in known space. Are you hoping to work on FS3, or will you be leaving it to someone else?

FS3 is still up in the air. It depends whether Lizard returns and whether I have the time...

It's different though, because all of the assets already exist. FS3 would just be a matter of mission making. But, it still took me a year to make FS2 with most of the assets already in existence.

FS3's campaign would also be very short and entirely set on Nemesis.

It would be more of a mini-mod, like Cerberi Revenge...

Maybe someone else could make it.


On QF2, it's a total conversion so no assets from any other mod or the original game are in it. I'd like to keep it that way, but the story is another thing.

I could include little easter egg promotions for CP2 if you give them to me.

I remember Jayden saying he was interested in working on it... perhaps we should try getting a team on it, making something more out of it than a mini-mod. Hmm. I'll send you a message when I'm at my desktop instead of at college.

The CP2 and QF2 aren't going to match. Why people seem to think they need to I don't understand.

One will become the "Expanded Universe" and the other will be non-canon (technically both are non-canon if you want to split hairs). When it comes out doesn't matter, the quality of the material and how people feel about it matters.

BBB, I hope your assets are nicely organized if I can prompt you to give access to your assets once your mod is out for a merger mod.

Once my mod is out, anyone can use my assets. Just give me credit for them.

I've also specifically designed them all to be cross-compatible with other mods. Granted, the weapon damage levels might need some tweaking for a merger mod.

Don't jump to that conclusion just yet. QF2 *might* fit perfectly into the 'expanded universe'.
