How do I install battlezone 2 Forgotten Enemies

I have a 1.0 install and a 1.01b install.

And 1.2, 1.3pb1-6.2+ installs.

Mine installs 1.01b2, yours probably does too. Mine came in the full box and everything so its not like its a later disk pressing.

Not so, I got the my fully boxed bz1 off the final press. It has 1.4 right off the disk.

I'm saying the concept is not unknown to the BZ series, or Activision as a publisher. You know, the one that kind of ships the discs.

Go to your Battlezone II/Extras/cs/anet.inf, look at version number.

1.01b lists it as 1.1.

Not for me, my 1.01b2 is not 1.1, its 1.0, it always worked as 1.0, joined 1.0 games, etc.

There are two popular BZ2 versions at the moment; 1.2 and 1.3pb6.1. Having a folder for each allows you to use both. FE, coincidentally, also works in both versions. Both versions of FE have their own advantages.

As I explained, the newer patch for BZ2 was designed mostly for Multiplayer. That being said, Single Player, both Stock and FE's, may not work properly in this version.

So, 1.2 is for Single Player, 1.3 is for Multiplayer.

1.2 is for nothing since Windows 7 and 1080p displays chew on it, spit it out, and then throw an AV in your face to make sure you get the point.

Hey, General. I did it all as you said, i downloaded the links, extracted them to the said folders, and nothings changed and the Instant Action still crashes. soooo... ???

I did exactly what you said. I created another copy of the folder, Battlezone II 1.3. I then Downloaded the files, and when its said "open, Save, or cancel" i hit save and they downloaded to a "CD burn" area, and then, i extracted the newly downloaded files to their respectives folders, and FE part 1 WORKS!!! DDD all exept for instant action, which still crashed upon click. The FE version i used was the 1.2, and the updates seem to not work, and the blue ball still appears, and no building outline appears when wanting to construct. The first mission of FE 1.2 works, but when returning to the transports after destrying the power gens, nothing happens. Everyone just sits there. I did all the intructions twice, and the 1.3 doesnt work period, 1.2 still has issues, like instant not working. :/

1.3 should be easier than any to install since it is a single package.

1.) Have a clean pb6 install
2.) install FE1.3 according to its directions
3.) There is no step 3
