Wait, "clicking 'multi'"? I took what he said "went to Multi" as actually playing multiplayer, if that isn't what he meant then no, it isn't the DLL, its either an engine or a computer issue.GSH wrote:Nielk1 wrote (though in two separate posts, which I've merged together):If clicking on 'multi' triggered this, then any/all mission DLLs are irrelevant to this discussion. Mission DLLs are loaded maybe 2/3 of the way in launching a map. No mission DLLs are loaded in the pregame shell.Off hand it looks like an error in the mission DLL

The reason I blame the mission DLL is I have caused such errors with stupid DLL coding and its probably the main "moving part" in FE.

Re: FE Error
I've gotten errors twice: the 2nd time I clicked Multi, saw noone was on, so I clicked Menu, and went to Single (IN FE) and it froze up and crashed.
The 1st time is the error in the OP. Honestly I don't remember what I did that time.

Please Specify: "Went to Single" being A: Clicking on the Single Player menu button, or B: Launching and playing a Single Player mission?Baconboy wrote:and went to Single (IN FE) and it froze up and crashed.

Clicking on 'Single.'
Re: FE Error
There is nothing in the interface that says "Single." Picking on your period
But seriously, that is odd.

Re: FE Error
Ok, well something happened again. It crashed in mid multiplayer game. An error thing popped up but it had no text inside of it. If the same errors HAVE carried over from my previous pc, it would be the install correct? I didn't make a clean install, I just copied and pasted my folder containing all of BZ2's data and put it on my external hard drive. Would just installing it again (if my CD still works......) fix it?
Re: FE Error
Any hardware come from your old PC that went into your new PC?

Re: FE Error
I do not know. I didn't set it up. All I did was move BZ2's install to the External Drive and we took the Hard Drive and plugged it into the new pc.
