We have both reinstalled the mod and whenever he clicks launch on mm5 for fs2 on pb6.2 it still shows up on the default stock bz2 patch.

Any idea why it is not working?

First thought: MM5 was designed for 1.2? These days, in 1.3, use a .cfg and set up a shortcut.

I thought it was also made for 1.3 since many mods did work with it but how would he do that with a config file for an old mod? I dont remember how since i havent done that in a year and not sure which config file to use.

MM5 works fine with 1.3, just needs a mod with a .bzm file setup.

Setting up a shortcut is easy.

Go to the bzone.exe and/or bz2Edit.exe and right click on it, select create shortcut.

Name the shortcut whatever you want (bulbasragamuffin or jigglypuffeatspeanutbutter or perhaps the name of the mod)

Right click on the shortcut you made, go to properties. In the "target" line, at the end after the last " mark, add a space and the following: /config "yourlaunchingconfigfilename.cfg"

Then hit apply, and the shortcut will launch using the mod's cfg file.

Using shortcuts is the preferred method these days. Most of us won't be able to help you if MM5 isn't working properly.
