Post by SSA »

other than that, adjust colors in gameprefs by copying the settings to localprefs.ini or use the console commands.

Also is there any fix for the colors?
The colors cover all of the ship/building not only the orange.
Any fix?

You'd need one of the teamcolour glowskin packs for this. The only complete one I'm aware of was released in the UEP way back, but if you can extract them and inject them into the newer version of the game they should work fine.

The most reliable source for BZ/BZ2 mods/utilities: http://www.bzscrap.org. You can find UEP Here

Try http://www.moddb.com/mods/battlezone-ii-remodeled. I did the skins so that they retain most of their natural color, and only the orange changes.

"CP1" is Forgotten Enemies. The UEP is a separate project. Neither are full of viruses if you get them from a legitimate source (i.e. bzscrap).

The teamcolor tool is part of the Local Mod Manager, which can be found in the Extras folder. With its developer's permission I might strip it out and give it a full release of its own at some point.
