Except that N1's not the guy in charge of BZRAP.

Not being in charge of a mod doesn't seem to stop every mod from waiting on N1 to grace it with his magic (possibly OCD) touch.

Actually...

I am now :-.

SkyNET on 5/28/2011 wrote:I'm out for good. Feel free to start BZRAP yourself if you like, or recommend the task to someone else. There's nothing I've really done that can't be redone. RD has the new Cerberi weapons I made and I'm pretty sure the fixed Scion rocket trail is in there too.

If you do, keep people like ZA and appel on hand, they could be helpful with balancing, which should be done per-unit rather than by comparison. Unlike a lot of people here, BZ2 really is just a game to me.

I started to get a group together but things got a tad busy and then TJ started threatening release of the UEP and ignored all my notices of the incomplete parts that were not releasable. So I never got back to it. It is technically at the head of my list but my senior year just started.

When stuff calms down with school I should be able to go back to team building mode and all. I want to get DF in too for his knowledge about FE related balance.

I suppose that's what I get for not paying attention.

Hey, I wouldn't have known until I starting poking around various forums. Another way that I discovered that, yes, Nielk1 graces many a mod. Kind of like discovering that a bunch of products you use are really all manufactured by the same company or at least getting some kick backs from it.

So, Nielk, you said BZRAP was your thesis project correct? I love this 2-birds-with-1-stone stuff.

Haha, no. Wish I could do that. I just have a lot going on is all. A senior project that is specifically *not* Battlezone related, which is one of the things taking time away from BZRAP.

FS2 will, FS1 will work with simply a texture conversion (easy to do yourself) and I don't think QF has been tested yet.

uploaded a new Skywars zip.

DELETE THE OLD SKYWARS MOD BEFORE INSTALLING

+ using latest 1.3 mpinstant.dll so ISDF can be used by AI and 1.3 shell varbs can be used
+ Fixed a bunch of requirements so AIPs run okay
+ Fixed a bad pathpoint so AIPs run okay
+ Added missing recycler so AIPs run okay
+ Fuzzy is a bit wonky, aim-wise (didn't touch it)
+ Didn't touch AIP's aside from removing cheats
+ Added text files for Recy and AIP lists
+ Updated map .inf files with 1.3 varbs

To Do:
Update AIP's to vary staging points
