Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.2 Public Beta released
MTS- this has been previously addressed on the bugzilla thread for this bug. Please get an email address that works so you can see when comments are posted there.
A change made between 1.3.6 and 1.3.6.1 -- yes, that long ago. Thank you for testing -- deletes items at a safer, more consistent place in the game update loop. However, that part of the game update loop isn't running in the editor. Drop out of the editor for it to run, then return to editor to save.

Sorry, ^ thats what I meant. You have to go back into the game before saving in the editor. Not a major flaw really.

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.2 Public Beta released
So this one's better than 6.1?
ALSO, I forgot how to install a patch. (I know I'm so stupid.)
Can someone pm me or post step by step instructions?

Create a clean install, run the patch installer, tell it where to go. Should work fine after that.

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.2 Public Beta released
That usually isn't required, the patch installer renames addon/maps13/saved/logs folders and makes clean new ones. Some very very old maps/mods used to install into the data folder, which is bad.
the patch should install over any previous version of BZ2 fine, as long as you don't have anything wierd in data folder. (also should whipe your bindata folder)
Though, a 1.0 install is a good way to make sure it's a clean install, akin to the way reinstalling your operating system is good way to make sure there's no viruses on your computer.
Upon further thinking, you probably got confused by that, so i'll put this a simpler way:
Don't worry about it. The patch should install fine.

Tried the new patch, and its awesome. The netcode seems brutally improved. No lag, no issues with joining or leaving, no warp/ghosting etc, just great. Thanks!

To make this answer clear, I'll ask, does Forgotten Enemies work with this patch?
Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.2 Public Beta released
RD has been updating FE for 1.3.6.*, as can be seen here. Note that it is up to MODs to be updated for a patch. Not the other way around.
