I'm not sure but I remember seeing a code similar to that, it unlocks all the missions... actually I think I wrote it down on my game case 10 years ago :P.

*goes to the closet....*

Can't find it but I'm sure someone here knows it and it is probably somewhere on the interwebz.

ai.winmission was pre-1.2, IIRC. game.cheat bzwinner will do it for you now.

BZ2 has no cheat to unlock all missions due to the split - missions after the split can be directly accessed by Play ISDF and Play Scion, but you know that already.

Yes they open fire as soon as they see the Guardian. And I still think it should have it's standard weapon instead of "Guard Cannon". It doesn't even make sense for the Guardian to have a cannon type of weapon.
As GSH explained, that Guardian specifically was because it was extremely early in the game. A single guardian can wipe out two or three scouts on its own, and new players who don't know how to play won't know how to run around them with little to no damage. This was mentioned before, its to help new players get situated with the games mechanics. I don't think BZ2 would be as popular if that Guardian had its Assault Ion Gun right from the start.

That's a good point, but to sort this out you could make the Guardian start with like half of it's HP.

Or you could leave it as it is, as it's design intent and therefore a non-issue.

BZ1 had rave gun in the first mission. Kind of like an easter egg, but it did break the mission.

Bz2 should carry that tradition.

The only BZ2 mission I've seen with loose crates is the demo.
