All units that are under the players command. They just move ignoring enemy units passing or shooting at them.

This is the engage range, extending it causes obedience problems with units, if they engage at say 500 meters, you'll probably never get a squad together as they will all rush off from the factory straight away and get killed. It would be nice to have a command button that extended the engage range and one to reduce it back when you want the remaining units to pay any attention to what your telling them to do at all.

I rarely play scion but I dont think there is a difference between the factions. At least I never noticed one. Should there be one? Or why do you ask?

Actually there could be a difference. Scion's are mostly made up of morphtanks which use a different AI to the ISDF units. (Not sure why because MT AI is vastly superior in most cases, defends and attacks better, can use multiple weapons etc)

To be honest, I'd start getting more frustrated if my scouts started attacking a titan rather than just blitzing past it and surviving, wouldn't you? its the lesser of two evils.

I've killed a titan with a squad of scouts before you just give them chain guns.
If you wanted it with Scion sentries give them all the guns.
I've had a game where the server thought I was cheating because speed I dismantled his defenses with just two squads of sentries as far as he noticed but the fact was that I'd already used 10 archers to fill that pace full of acid cloud mortars so it took about 3 seconds for everything to die.
