BZ2 1.3.6.3a AND G66 v3.1

The long story is here:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1760&p=30640#p30640

In short, I've tested successfully G66 v3.1 installed over 1.3.6.3a, and it seems to work, seeing RakNet hostings.

That's good news, at least for me!

Nagus.

P.S.: Be warned that after installing G66 v3.1 over a patched up installation to 1.3.6.3a, at least on Windows 7, the G66 installer will change your destination folders for the previous installation without G66, and I mean it:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1732&p=30643#p30643

So You'll have to edit the launchers so the ones related to stock 1.3.6.3a point out to their correct folder, and the ones related to your G66 to their folder. If not, could happen whatever, as it happened to me......

I've just upgraded some BZ2 installations to 1.3.6.4N (several machines, several folders each one.....this is growing at a fearful pace!...XDDD), and when I tried to see available hostings I've seen some G66 over this N patch. There were 'Mr. Scout' and others playing, apparently in MPIRend66.....

I'm not sure now, but some prior patches didn't seem compatible with G66 (v 3.1) to me. But I could be wrong.

I've got G66 running over 1.3.6.3D, and I lost the trail on upcoming patches.....

Is it (G66 v3.1) really working also over 1.3.6.4N?

Another one related, but also answered elsewhere, is the 'antivirus' vs. Raknet support thing. In my case (AVG Free in all machines) I must disengage AVG for 5 minutes if I want to see Raknet hostings..... each time I request active sessions. It's a tad annoying but it is not so big trouble. Just for your reference.....

If only had I time enough to properly playing and testing!........

Nagus.

There is a patch for G66 at link below

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1829

when you install 1.3.6.4 it asks if you want to add the executable to your firewall, just say yes.
