There is a new sub-build of 1.3.7.1 to be installed over 1.3.7.1: download. This re-introduces 3D audio to BZ2, though with a different underlying library (XAudio 2).
To install: Unpack the contents of this .zip over a 1.3.7.1 install.
Note: if you get a missing DLL error on startup, please browse into the Redist\DX9 folder, and re-run the DirectX setup in there.
Major fixes since b131L : properly finds .ogg files that are loose on disk, adjustable reverb settings in SP/IA, adjustable doppler in bz2edit.exe builds, and sfx volume more consistently applied.

I noticed on P, sometimes explosions far away sound really loud compared to other explosions that are somewhat closer. Seems random, possibly distance based.

Re: BZ2 1.3.7.1-b131p posted
I had this happen in a 131p game and in 1.3.7.1 game. After a few minutes of play, suddenly the teamcolor textures went nutz and became super stretched.

Turning Team Colors off and then back on via console makes the team colors change to a different color, but still have messed up textures while Team Colors are on.

Re: BZ2 1.3.7.1-b131p posted
Teamcolor isn't a texture. It's a 32-bit color value sent to Direct3D. Seems like some other part of DX state was corrupted. I'd need to get a good repro case to really dig into that.

Happened after a few minutes of mp gameplay.
I am using an AMD dual core with an NVidia 650 GT graphics card, if that's important.
I'll test to see if it happens on my other rig today.
