Battlezone 15th Anniversary
Battlezone 15th Anniversary
Today was the 15th anniversary of the release of Battlezone: February 28, 1998. Sometimes it's hard to believe it's been so long. Other times it's entirely too easy to believe it's been so long.

that's impossible...

I think Ken has some sort of time acceration machine that alters our perception of reality. It's the only explanation....Red Devil wrote:that's impossible...

Let's celebrate! Thunderbolt Whiskey and Molotov Vodka in the Officer's Club over at Eagle's Nest One! 1800 Zulu, don't be late! Last one through the door gets scav duty tomorrow!
I wonder if 10 years from now all this will still be going, and if Activision will release a 25th anniversary edition of BZ1. I hope so.

Re: Battlezone 15th Anniversary
That's true.
In 10 years, 64 bit code will probably be required on the latest PC's and 32 bit code will probably be completely deprecated as win16 code is now on Win7 and 8. I wonder if BZ1 can be successfully rebuilt as a 64 bit app?
